February was a month of firsts. Baby Bear had his first birthday! He also stood up all by himself and took his first steps!! 😍 He’s eating solids for the first time, staying at the church nursery during service for the first time, playing along side other babies for the first time. As for myself, there were other personal firsts I rather enjoyed, but really, everything that Baby Bear is doing for the first time is what I truly enjoy most 😊
March Goals
My main goal for March is to get back into studying Korean. Yep, I still carve a little time daily to study Korean… or at least used to. I was busy in February, and next thing I knew, February was done! So now I’m getting back into the groove.
I’m also following an Italian blog that is making me really want to get back into studying Italian as well, but I just don’t think I have the time 😭 Maybe a little each day? Mmm, and even though I want to go outside to take more photos, I might not be able to. March can be the coldest month in Colorado. We’ll see with that too!
One thing I do want to really get back into is playing guitar. A few years back I made the goal to write a song, with lyrics, before I turn 40. Well guess what! I’m 39!! 😱 So I’m bringing my sparkly red guitar downstairs to practice while Baby Bear sleeps ~ or I might play for him too. He does enjoy it 😄 It’s been almost 2 years since I touched my guitar, so it’s time to get my fingers used to it once more ❤️

That’s about it for me! I’m also planning a bunch of blogs called “Romanticize Your Life: For Moms” and I’m excited about that 🥰
What about you? How was February? Do you have any March goals?
Take care and God bless,
Yari, the ✿ Lovely Panda Mom ✿
Ooooh, congratulations on all the firsts with your Baby Bear!!! 🐻 And those are some awesome goals you have for March; language learning is so much fun in my opinion! I am learning Swedish on Duolingo and I practice it on there daily. And, your guitar!!! That is so cool, and I hope you can have the time to play and write some lyrics! 🎸🎶

Thanks so much!! 🥰🐻 I use Duo in my studies too. It’s a great tool, even the free version! I like the app Drops for vocabulary. They might have Swedish too. If I write a song, I might share it. Maybe! 😁

Such pretty pictures of you! ☺️ That’s a coool looking guitar, the color is amazing. 🎸 Sounds like you had a sweet February. I pray your March will be just as lovely!🌷I wish you the best in learning Italian and Korean- that sounds fun~ (and challenging, too. 😅)

Thanks for sharing your March goals, Yari! I always wanted to play guitar but never will. It amazes me how musicians are able to coordinate hand/finger movements on strings or keyboards, but I realize much practice goes into it.
I will continue to chip away sorting through paperwork I’ve accumulated over the years. I had to clean out my parents’ house to resell it and I don’t want to leave that task to our sons.
On a lighter note, I bought a large sketch pad and want to get back into my art now that I’m retired. I haven’t drawn or painted in twenty-plus years.

Thanks for reading! Yes, at first, it was hard for me to do a chord with my left hand and strum with my right. It felt like trying to move two completely different bodies 😂 It was only with practice that it became more natural. For decluttering, it can feel overwhelming. Just remember a little at a time will do! 😊 And that’s awesome! I wish you the best on your art!! Maybe you’ll share it on your blog someday?

Thanks, Yari! Yup, there’s no rush on the decluttering. Thanks for the art wishes. I’m going to get to it soon.
RE: musicianship
I’ve read that it’s difficult for bass players in bands who also sing. They must play a bass line while also singing a non-corresponding melody. Some bass players can do it, but others can’t. The brain is an amazing thing.

Sounds like some wonderful goals for March. I have found that even if I devote a little time (say 30 minutes), develop it into a habit every day, there is a huge payoff long-term.
So for March, I want to continue making videos. I have been writing every day for a long time now. This year I decided to add video to the mix. I do not really like how I look or sound but I am going to keep at it.
Blessings for a wonderful March.

Thank you 😊 Yes, small amounts of time definitely add up! That’s great that you’ll keep at it! I’m sure you’ll find that you improve over time (or maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to seeing and hearing yourself). Thank you and you as well! ✨

Congratulations on all of Baby Bear’s firsts! How fun and exciting! I’ve been watching Korean shows for awhile and keep meaning to start learning a bit. I think this is sign haha!!

Thank you!! 🐻💕 Korean shows are the best, aren’t they?? 😊 I hope you do learn! Pro tip: if you learn the Hangul alphabet well at first, everything else is much much easier. Happy March!! 😊✨

Now the fun begins with baby bear. You won’t need to go to a gym just spend the day keeping up with him 🙂
So cool you are into languages too

Hahaha That’s for sure! He is already pretty fast with the crawling 😁 Languages are so much fun to learn! What language(s) are you learning?

That’s wonderful! Spanish is my first language. And I *almost* chose Portuguese instead of Italian ~ they are both similar to Spanish, but in the end, I like Italian rock music so… 😁 If you want to practice your Spanish on my blog comments, feel free!
