Me Reading Amish Romance

My younger sisters are both married, one with a child on the way, and I continue to approach the winter of my life, unmarried. At my age, will I ever marry? Old as I am, is there any hope for love?

Can someone at my advanced age still find love and raise a family? Will my womb become barren with this passing of time?

My birthday is fast approaching. I am nearly 23 years of age, and growing older…

Me, 39 years old: 😐 *sets book down*

  1. It’s interesting to me that there are so many Amish romance novels at the local Barnes & Noble. I just googled it and found “The first commercially successful Amish romance novel…was Beverly Lewis’ The Shunning, published in 1997 by Bethany House.”
