Monday!! I know, nobody should be this happy on a Monday 😁 I hope you’re looking forward to having a wonderful week 😊 I’m happy because I finally decided on a photo for my blog! It’s me… sort of. It’s me in cartoon form, and I’m really liking it because it’s so cute 😋

I had an older photo of myself on my blog for a few days, this one:

I know it’s not a very flattering angle/photo, but for some reason I really like that photo. I’m not very photogenic, so it’s rare when I like a photo 😁 However, that was 2018 so I didn’t want to keep it. For now, I’ll keep the Disney-looking one because it’s adorbs, and I’m also going to continue to play with the cartoon app.

Yes, that’s my little Baby Bear!
Today I’m also happy to invite anyone to ask me anything in the comments! Risky, I know 😅 I’ll answer anything as long as it’s not too personal (and not rude, but I really don’t expect that from my readers ~ you are all so cool!!). Some I might answer in the comments, some on separate blogs, depending on how much engagement/questions I get. I might not get any, but I hope I get at least a couple…

And for funsies, here’s a quick get-to-know me!
What is something you are good at doing? ~ I make THE BEST Puerto Rican stewed beans.
What is the story behind your name? ~ I love lovely and feminine things, pandas are cute, and I am a happy mom 24/7 to a wonderful little Baby Bear 🥰
Which country do you want to visit and why? ~ South Korea and/or Japan. I’m fascinated by both countries’ beauty and they have just risen so awesomely from past adversity, it’s inspiring.
What is one thing that surprised you about being a parent? ~ The crying didn’t and doesn’t bother me at all. I thought it would because I enjoy silence, but even during the colicky month 4, I didn’t mind.
Describe your dream home in detail. ~ Not really detailed, but I just want a home that cannot be taken from me, a place that I can grow old in and that feels like “home base” for Baby Bear.
If you’d like to share your answers to any of those questions, I would be happy to read them! Oh, and don’t forget to ask any questions you might have for me. I hope you have a wonderful week! 😊
Take care and God bless,
Yari, the ✿ Lovely Panda Mom ✿

Hey yes, the pic is great. Loved it.
It’s totally you.
Okay here are some questions:
1: What made you start blogging? Like why now? Why not before?
2: Are you looking forward for a friendship through WordPress??
3: Do you like reading others work? Who are your some favourite?
4: Are you comfortable in talking about women’s health? Well I’m a health blogger, that’s why I asked.
5: How Yari is different from now and before being a panda mom?
6 : What are challenges women face after becoming a mother?

Little sister I like you cartoon pic but think your real pic is cute too. You are photogenic. It would be fun to visit South Korea and Japan. I would love to go back to Brazil and Romania. I would also love to visit more of Europe.

I think the cartoon pic is great whether it is Disney or precious moments, it is wonderful! I am so proud of you for taking this leap of faith with this blog, I know it hasn’t been easy. The country that I would most like to visit at this point is Greece and the country I would most want to revisit at this point in my life is Israel.

Thanks so much 😊 Oh, I remember Precious Moments! Wow, blast from the past! Those used to be super popular in the 90’s. And yes, it sounds like Israel would be very interesting for you at this time, especially with all that you’re learning. Wonderful 😊

I was in Jordan and Israel in May-June 2017, it was amazing. I met some really wonderful people.

Love the cartoon rendition.
So here is a question:
How do you turn a photo into a cartoon/caricature?
Shalom!

Thanks 😊 Oh, that’s easy. I use an app called “Photo Editor Pro Polish.” It’s pretty amazing what that app can do! I’m having a lot of fun with it 😊
God bless!

Thanks for the interesting questions and answers about yourself. I think it’s cool that you have an interest in Japan and South Korea.
For myself:
What is something you are good at doing? Drawing and painting and I need to get back into doing them.
What is the story behind your name? I’m an ex-Catholic and I’m for Jesus Christ and the genuine Gospel!
Which country do you want to visit and why? I’ve visited Poland once, but would love to go back, the country of my paternal forebears.
What is one thing that surprised you about being a parent? Our sons were babies 40+ years ago, but their requirements are tremendous at that stage. I hope your son completely bypasses the “rebellious teen” stage. That’s a doozy.
Describe your dream home in detail. Our current house that we’ve lived in for 19 years, but without all of the trees in the yard.

I remember you mentioning you wanted to get back into drawing/painting. I still hope you do 😊 I love art, even though I can’t do it. Oh yes, babies are very demanding in many ways, which is why I’m taking a little break. My parents were very harsh on me as a teen, so I plan to be closer to my son and more gentle at that age, and hopefully it won’t be too much of a doozy?? LoL Thanks for the heads up though! Loved all your answers!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week 😊

Thanks, Yari! Well, you have a long way to go before you have to deal with any teen drama (if at all). Have a great rest of the week as well!

Hi Yari, Are you studying a particular book in the Bible currently?

Yes! 😊 I am in Proverbs. I picked up where I left off in Proverbs 20 and I’ll be taking a little break to hang out with my family and dive deeper into the Proverbs. They seem to go very fast for me, one after the other, and I’d like to stop and think and meditate on them. Thanks for your question! Can I ask you the same? 😊 Are you currently studying a specific Bible book?

Wonderful! Yes, we are studying Matthew in ladies Bible study and Habakkuk at church. Enjoying both. 😉 Have a good week. 👍

The cartoon photos are so fun!!! And that truly is a lovely photo of you; the expression, the smile, the cat sweater! 😸 I also enjoyed reading your Q&A; South Korea and Japan truly are so fascinating, and I can see why you’d love to visit there! 😁

Thank you 😊 I still love cats, even though I’ve not been able to have one for almost 6 years!! My Baby Bear loves dogs, so I’m thinking there’s a little beagle or something in our future 😁

Love the new app photo, great likeness of you. My question is, how many more kids do you want to have?

Thanks so much 😊 I just hurried and added your question to the answers post, because it’s such a sweet question 🥰 I would love 3-4 kids, but I’m 39 years old, so that may not be possible through pregnancy, but rather through adoption. Thankfully, our church is very helpful with adoption, so we are confident that we can adopt in the near future, even if we do get pregnant again 😊
